Little Pookie Halloween

For Halloween in 2011 I got to make my first (hopefully) of many homemade Halloween costumes. This particular year we dressed him as Little Pookie from Sandra Boynton's books. I sure do love that little piggy :)

The overalls we already had and I just safety pinned a little pigtail to them. The shirt I had luckily already made using DanaMadeIt.com's 90 min shirt tutorial. So all that was left was making a little piggy snout hoody.

We went trick or treating with our good friends the Thompsons and little Caroline was a mermaid :)

I'm kinda hoping I can dig this out and get James to be a sweet little pookie for me later this year :)
