My Partner

For those of you who haven't gotten the pleasure of meeting my lovely bride, I wanted to give you a quick 101.

The planets aligned at sunset on March 9th, 2007, and Channing Nicole Young said yes to a lovestruck Texas boy on a windswept pier off of Santa Monica Beach, CA near where she went to school at Pepperdine University.
We married in May of 2008, and since then we've been through a hoop or two the Army has decided to send our way.

Setting aside a budding Theatre career with Baylor University, she followed me to Aggieland, where I had one last semester to comeplete. She worked at A&M's Rudder Theatre as the only gal (and the only theatre major among her peers) for the year only to be swept away to the faraway land of Ft. Huachuca, AZ, following her man on his first extended Military Training.

She got up mornings, making me breakfast after Physical Training (PT) at 0700 daily, and had a warm lunch waiting for me as I pulled in on a 1 hour lunch break. What a woman.

At the conclusion of the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leadership Course (MIBOLC) we packed up and shipped off back to Texas, ready to take on the world.

She's a woman of faith, wife, new mother, daughter, sister, faithful friend, artist, cook, a LOST fanatic, a Texas Woman through and through, and I'm a lucky guy to have captured her heart.

Proverbs 18:22 reads "He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the LORD." I agree.
