Schreyer Baby Time!

Family & Friends,

In preparation for Schreyer baby time, Channing and I wanted to make sure everyone has all the right information to meet our new little guy.

We are having munchkin #2 at the Ft Belvoir Community Hospital, at 9300 Dewitt Loop, Ft Belvoir, VA. Labor and Delivery is on the 5th floor.

During regular hours, access to Ft Belvoir for Visitors from 0500-2100 is through Tulley Gate, located at Pohick Rd and Richmond Hwy, please be prepared to show ID. Continue on to 12th St past the BK and turn left on Belvoir Rd. The hospital will be on your left. 

After hours access is via Pence Gate, at Belvoir Rd and Richmond Hwy, with the hospital on your right after the gate.

Visitors will be welcome after the birth, and once Mom & Baby are resting comfortably.

Channing is 38 weeks pregnant, but measuring at 40 weeks, 1cm dilated, 75% effaced, at a -3 station and has constant Braxton-hicks contractions. Our last OB check was yesterday, which resulted in a concern over gestational hypertension, with high BP, low iron & platelet counts. Channing had similar symptoms before we had Caleb. We will head to the hospital once she has organized strong contractions.

Grandma Lori is in town and is doing her best to 'walk the baby out' with Channing.

We expect to see Grandma & Grandpa Schreyer this weekend as well.
