Alright so we're a little behind in our updates so bear with me... Yesterday at our newborn check up our Bilirubin count was 17 which was SUPER high (I think 18 was our "treatment" level) and his weight was down to 6 pounds 8 ounces which is down about 11% (all babies apparently loose weight but they don't really want him loosing more then 10%).
So after that fun news we were asked to come in again today and if his numbers hadn't improved little bit was getting readmitted to the hospital. SO with that fun news we fed him as MUCH as possible and "sunned" him often in hopes of improving his numbers. This morning Jake had to go back into work to fix all of the things that fell apart while he was gone so I spent the morning packing a "just in case" bag and hoping for the best at our appointment.

Well Caleb rocked his appointment and gained 2 ounces and lowered his Bilirubin count by .7 which were both enough to satisfy the pediatrician. As you can see in the chart we kissed the yellow treatment line twice and since he dropped without treatment this time we should be all done with jaundice worries. Once a Bilirubin count peaks it usually doesn't go up again so as long as we keep making diapers and keep eating we shouldn't have to go back in again till his 2 week check up on June 10th.

Also on a side note from mom today was the first day that I felt like I got anything done. Not only did our pack and play finally arrive but I assembled it, did all the dishes, and got some laundry washed (if not folded). YAY ME! Also Jacob should get to stay home now until Tuesday which is perfect because on Monday we're taking adorable baby pictures! YAY!
